Wearing your faith opens conversations

The moment I got baptized, I felt the holy spirit encouraging me. God spoke to me and said;

'Find a way to reach people with my message'.  This is why I started Yahuah Apparel of Believers. Wear your faith!

Blog September 2026

Today, I want to briefly share something simple, but important: perspective.

Each of us walked into this room carrying something. For some, it might be joy, gratitude, or hope. For others, it may be stress, doubt, grief, or questions that don’t have easy answers. And the truth is, most of the time, we can’t see that on the outside.

We see faces, smiles, conversations — but we don’t always see or know the full story.

It’s easy to assume we know how someone is doing. It’s easy to form an opinion based on a moment, a reaction, or a first impression. But perspective invites us to pause and remember: there is always more beneath the surface.

Someone who seems quiet might be carrying something heavy. Someone who seems strong might be tired. Someone who seems distant might simply need understanding.

And that’s where — empathy — comes in. The ability to step, even just a little, into someone else’s world. Not to fix everything, not to have all the answers, but simply to understand… or at least to try.

Understanding the other doesn’t mean we always agree. It doesn’t mean everything becomes easy. But it does mean we choose kindness over judgment. We choose patience over assumption. We choose to see people not just as they appear, but as they are — human, complex, and worthy of grace.

And I think that’s something beautiful about a place like this. Church is not a place where you have to pretend you have it all together. It’s a place where we can come as we are — with our stories, our struggles, and our hopes — and be met with love.

So as we begin today, I want to encourage all of us: let’s look at each other with softer eyes. Let’s listen a little more deeply. Let’s give each other the benefit of the doubt.

Because on the outside, we can’t always tell what someone is going through. But we can choose how we respond.

Let’s pray,

Dear Lord,

please help us to choose

Let us choose compassion.

Let us choose understanding.

Let us choose love.

And in doing so, we create a space where people feel safe, feel known, and feel welcomed...just as we are with you Lord

Thank you for being here today with us. Let us make a connect, lets reflect, and be present — together.

In Jesus his name Amen

A Summer With Purpose

Summer may be a time to slow down, but we haven’t been standing still.

During this holiday period, I had the opportunity to connect with a new church community in Elche through the owner of Mosttaza, bag brand with a mission close to our own. Mosttaza combines fashion with purpose, and part of her mission is supporting people in Colombia through her work.

We also joined forces for a special photoshoot to promote both of our brands, together with professional photographer Hugo Oliveira. It was an amazing opportunity to connect, create, and show how different brands can come together around faith, purpose, and creativity.

More photos from the shoot will be coming to the Yahuah Wear website soon.

Yahuah Wear — Faith. Purpose. Discipline.

FAITH. FITNESS. PURPOSE.

This is what drives me.

Everyone has something that drives them. Something that makes you get up, show up and keep pushing — even on the days when you don't feel like it. For me, that starts with Jesus. My faith is the foundation of who I am, how I want to live and what I want to build with Yahuah Wear.

But there's another passion that's a huge part of my daily life:

FITNESS.

And the more I learn about both, the more I realize that faith and fitness have a lot in common.

Discipline. Consistency. Patience. Growth. Purpose.

You don't become stronger overnight. Not physically. Not mentally. And definitely not spiritually. You grow by showing up.

DON'T JUST TRAIN. TRAIN WITH PURPOSE.

The Bible says:

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
— 1 Corinthians 10:31

That hits differently when you start applying it to everyday life. Your work. Your relationships. Your choices. What you eat. How you treat your body.

And yes — even how you train. Fitness isn't just about looking good. For me, it's about taking responsibility for the body God gave me. It's about becoming stronger, healthier and more disciplined. Motivation is easy when you're feeling good.

Discipline is what gets you there when you're not.

1 Corinthians 9:27 talks about disciplining the body and keeping it under control.

That's something everyone who trains understands. There will always be days when you don't feel like doing the work. Do it anyway.

BUILD THE BODY. TRAIN THE MIND. STRENGTHEN THE SPIRIT.

But there's an important balance.

1 Timothy 4:8 reminds us that physical training has value — but godliness has value for this life and the life to come. That's powerful. Train your body. Push yourself. Become stronger. Take care of your health. But don't spend your entire life building the outside while forgetting about what's happening on the inside.

Muscles are temporary. Character matters. Faith matters. Your relationship with God matters.

So yes… I want to become physically stronger. But even more than that, I want to become stronger in my faith.

NEVER STOP LEARNING.

My passion for fitness also pushes me to keep learning. I've already studied Sport & Nutrition, and this month I've started my Basic Fitness Trainer course. Another opportunity to grow. Because I don't believe we're supposed to stand still. There's always something new to learn. Something to improve. Something to discover. And sometimes God takes one passion and connects it to another in ways you didn't expect. Maybe that's exactly what's happening right now.

YAHUAH IS GROWING TOO.

The same goes for Yahuah Wear. I'm currently looking again at the vision and mission behind Yahuah. Where are we going? Who do we want to reach? What do we really stand for?

And most importantly:

How can Yahuah make an impact?

Because I don't want Yahuah to become just another clothing brand. There are enough clothes in the world. I want the clothes to mean something. A shirt can carry a message. A message can start a conversation. A conversation can plant a seed. And one seed can change someone's life. That's what excites me.

If someone wears Yahuah and another person asks:

“What does that mean?”

Then suddenly it's not just a T-shirt anymore. It's an opportunity.

LET GOD LEAD.

I don't know exactly where this journey will take me. And maybe I don't need to. I want to stay open. Open to development. Open to new ideas. Open to new people. And above all…

open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

My prayer for this next chapter is simple:

Father, lead me.

Give me wisdom when I have decisions to make. Give me strength when things get difficult. Fill me with positive energy and surround me with the right people. Lead me to the hearts of the people I meet. Help me recognize the opportunities You place in front of me. Keep my intentions pure. And let Yahuah become something that doesn't simply attract attention…

but points that attention back to You.

THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.

Maybe faith, fitness and fashion look like three completely different worlds. I don't think they are. For me, they're becoming part of the same journey. A journey of discipline. Growth. Strength. Faith. And purpose.

So I'll keep learning. I'll keep training. I'll keep creating. I'll keep praying. And I'll keep building.

Not because I know exactly where the road ends…

but because I know Who I want leading the way.

WEAR YOUR FAITH. LIVE YOUR PURPOSE.

I have been a Christian for just 2 years I’d say… And my life has definitely improved since I became a Christian! Hallelujah!

I mean, I live in Spain I have the best parents anyone could wish, and I have a best friend for life. I have created the possibility to spread the Word of God through my clothing brand and work parttime in a very good restaurant. God is good.

It was not like this all the time. My life has had its highs and lows.

I have been hurt by people that I trusted, like my genetic father. And when I was 10 years old my mom got diagnosed with cancer. She is one of the strongest women I know. She faced stuff that we don’t even want to talk about, but she is still here and she is caring, loving and she is there for me all day everyday despite residual symptoms after cancer treatments. Some readers may relate to this.  God healed her and I want to make an example out of her.  Because of this and other things, I´ve never felt carefree as a child.

My point is, life can be hard, lonely, difficult and disappointing. It can be a struggle, you may face heartbreak, you probably will experience pain of losing someone you love, rejection or illness.

And it’s up to us how we deal with it. Being a Christian does not mean that you will have a perfect life and that you will not face struggle.

No. Being a Christian is being knocked down and getting back up through Christ who strengthens you.

Philippians 4:13 is a Bible verse where the Apostle Paul writes, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me

Some Christians are going the right way but after one knock down stay down and blame God instead of learning from the mistake and grabbing Gods hand.

God has a plan for your life and each time you get hurt learn and be prepared for the next time it may happen.

When everything in life is good it’s easy to worship God but when life is not going your way it’s hard to live with a God who feels like he is not there.

God sent me to tell you He is standing next to you, but you have to allow him to help you.

Romans 8:18 For I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. If the suffering had the final word, God wouldn’t still be writing. Your pain is temporary — but God’s purpose is eternal.

I like to talk about Jesus, I hope you do too. God bless you, Sidney

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we come before You right now with grateful hearts. God, we thank You not because life has been easy — but because You have been faithful.

Lord, you see every person. You see the pits they’ve been thrown into, the prisons they’ve been locked in, the betrayal, the rejection, the pain they never talk about.

But Father, we thank You that the pit is not the end. We thank You that the prison is not the promise. We thank You that You are a God who turns wounds into wisdom

and pain into purpose. God, for the ones who are tired — strengthen them. For the ones who feel forgotten — remind them You see them. For the ones who have been knocked down — give them the courage to get back up through Christ who strengthens them.

Lord, help us not to blame You in our brokenness but to grab Your hand and trust You in the process. Teach us to worship You not only in the palace, but in the pit. And just like Joseph, what the enemy meant for evil — We declare you will use for good. We trust you. We praise You. We give You all the glory. In Jesus his name Amen.

God bless you, Sidney

Appreciating God can be as simple as:

  • Saying thank You, God in the morning

  • Noticing one beautiful thing each day

  • Talking about Jesus when the moment feels right

God is in the small things.
Jesus is still changing lives.

Appreciating God doesn’t mean having a perfect life. It means choosing to say, “Thank You” even in the middle of normal, messy days.

And even small actions can create big ripples. Look for the good today. It’s there.

If you believe Jesus is the way, don’t be afraid to show it. Wear your faith. Live your faith.

Yahuah Apparel of Believers isn’t just clothing. It’s a reminder. To you. To others. It can start conversations. It can plant seeds. Sometimes someone just needs to see a message about God to start thinking.

You don’t have to preach at people. Just live it. Speak kindly. Love people well. And if you choose to wear something that shows who you believe in, wear it with humility and confidence.

Interview Sidney by Reverand Bishop Steve Laidlow

What is your favourite scripture  and why?

My favourite scripture is Matthew 19 26 ` with God all things are possible´

It says with God all things are possible and how I found that was actually trough making a design for a sweater and after that I red Matthew because i really liked the verse.

But why this verse is so special for me is because with God you can cast out demons with God you can be healed mentally spiritually and physically God has helped me so much in all of those ways God healed me from being emotionless.

So i trust God and i know everything is possible trough him so let go let God

Vision for business Yahuah wear clothing?

My Vision for my clothing brand Yahuah Apparel of Believers is to spread the word of God.

It says in the bible to travel over to world and share the gospel, this is what the brand is doing. There are people wearing Yahuah in Spain, England, Germany, Holland and even in Zimbabwe.

I want my Apparel, my clothing, to fly all around to world and show to world the truth, open up conversations. Don NOT buy my clothing and say nothing to your atheist neighbour. I want you to show, to tell  your neighbour your beautiful style and tell him or her the meaning behind it.

The cross in my logo is not just fashion, it stands for the man who died for our sins and woke up as a God. Because Jesus is God in human form

How important is it for you to be part of this Local Church

It’s the best thing we have, the most wonderful and welcoming people here and since I’ve got here I have just learned so much about life about God about how to connect with him and I feel so much personal growth since I got here. That is thanks to you!

If you talk to anyone who is not a Christian what would you say to them ?

Thats a really difficult question. I think we need to take it slow sometimes because with some people if you push them too much they will walk away.

But if you are a good example, just like I try to be, people want to talk to me. I live my life as good as I know I’m definitely not perfect but how I spread the gospel is… people are interested in me and how I became a respectful young boy with a business and once we are in a conversation I tell them that God made me and God made me a better person with ambition. I like to talk about Jesus, I hope you do too. God bless you, Sidney

Blog August 2025

Last year in august 2024, my family and I moved from The Netherland, to Spain. After a few months, attending The Dream Centre in Hondon de los Frailes, the pastor asked me if I could give my testimony. Of course I was really nervous but then I thought of

Joshua 1:9:

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, for the Lord is with you"

If you like, go to the You Tube page to see an hear about my testimony at The Dream Centre Spain.

Pray

Loving God, please grant me peace of mind and calm my heart. Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path you've laid out for me. Remind me that you are a powerful God. Amen

Blog September 2025

Hello everybody, Welcome to my September Blog,

Let´s talk about Gods plan. God has BIG plans for you and sometime we experience the small ones. But know everything happens for a reason, His reason.

Let me tell you what happened last week…it was a reason.

Last week, my mom and I, we went to take out the trash. It is a bit further along the road so we went by car. I opened the tailgate of the car and I began to unload the trash.

While I was putting the trash bags in the containers, there was this man next to me. Instead of throwing things ín the container, he was reaching inside to take things out of the container. He took some slippers out and was searching for food. I felt really bad, the first thing that went through my mind was to give him some food and something to drink, but I did not have anything with me.

Luckily we did have money, so I gave him some and got back in the car. As  planned we went off to Elche. On the road to Elche, there was oncoming traffic and a car speeding and making dangerous manoeuvres. The car would have hit us, if we were there just a few moments earlier.

What if

What if … I would have ignored the homeless man and ignored God´s command to help… I would not be here today.

Proverbs 19:17, "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and will be repaid in full" I know I got saved that day, again, by the grace of the Lord.

I am so thankful, God, that I met this man, was given the opportunity to help him a bit and sticked with His plan. The Lord saved me. So listen to what God says and follow His plan, read His Words. It saves you.

Pray

Dear father God, I pray that we receive and fulfil the plan You have for us. I pray we are protected from all evil ánd crazy drivers. I pray that we use our money for the good and help those ones in need. I pray for all the people who are reading this and their families, they will feel saved, protected and blessed. Amen!

Blog October 2025

Hi you,

I really feel the need to bless everybody today, BLESS YOU!

With a few other people from church, we have been attending class, a church education group.

It’s called homiletics and it’s about how to deliver a message.

During class I had to do a 30 second speech but I like to continue that speech because I think the message is important. So important that I would like to share this with you  too.

So for God you have to be 3 things

  1. Mark 16:15 Go into all the word and preach the gospel.  Preaching means inspiring non-believers to believe so again tell everybody about Jesus, because we love them and want to see them in heaven.
  2. The second thing God want you to be is a teacher, which means that you learn the bible so you can teach other Christians about the bible and help them grow their faith.
  3. And the third thing God wants you to be is a soldier for god, so take out Gods enemies. What I mean to say is cast out demons like yell it out IN THE NAME OF JESUS I REBUKE YOU. Satan does not like Jesus and his followers and he knows he’s not welcome and he can’t come near because I’m protected by god.

Pray

Heavenly father, thank you. Thank you for enable us to preach the gospel. Thank you for learning us to teach the gospel. Thank you for making us your soldier, a soldier with the power of Jesus, the power of love, the power of faith. Do you feel his power? Let´s say AMEN
